A massive win for Liffeybank's Over 35's today away in Enfield. A bad start to the game from the visitors and a well taken goal by Enfield left Liffeybank 1 nil down within minutes of the kick off. Enfield frustrated the St.Catherine's Park side for the rest of the half as they tried to force an equaliser. Liffeybank made some tactical changes at the break but against the run of play Enfield scored again to double their lead. Liffeybank don't have a 100% record for nothing and within minutes they pulled one back from a well taken goal by Steven Byrne. This was quickly followed by a second by Darren O'Reilly. Liffeybank pushed forward and thought they had taken the lead twice only for both goals to be ruled off-side. Their efforts were rewarded when with 5 minutes to go Darren Sargant stepped up to win the game after a scrappy goal mount scuffle. A massive 3 points for the team against a well organised Enfield team.
