Under 16 B Girls; Marino 0, Liffeybank 3 (Ava X2, Abi).

Its hard to know what to say about this group of girls and how far they have come over a short time. Last year they lost their first ten league games before picking up their first point. They then went on to record a couple of wins before the season ended, this was reward for the progress they had been making. This year they have just lifted the MGL U16B League Trophy after a super 3 nil win over a good Marino side. Goals by Abi Martin and two from Ava Coburn clinched the title for the Liffeybank girls.

Great credit must be given to their coaches Jim Mooney, Niall Cullen and Ger Murphy who have poured a lot of time and effort into the team. Also Charlene Murphy and the parents for all the behind the scenes backup and to Darren Martin of Aria Networks who sponsors the team but most importantly to the girls themselves.

Under 8 Boys; Liffeybank v Stamullen

Another great performance from the young lads who are getting better each week. This was two high scoring twin games that both teams gave their all.

Under 10 E Boys; Balbriggan 1, Liffeybank 0

Twenty shots but no scores was a hard reality for Dave Corscadden and John O'Neill's young team on Sunday. The Liffeybank boys had most of the possession but it was the hosts that took all three points with a clinical strike just before the end. The lads are progressing and have some quality players, this result will only drive them on later in the season.

Under 11 E Boys; Dunboyne 2, Liffeybank 4 (Josh K, Dylan, Ryan, Bobby).

After jumping up two Divisions in the new year the Paul Falvey and Ste Murray led Under 11's are joint top of the U11E Division. An away win against near neighbours Dunboyne in what was a very closely contested game was just rewards for the hard work the lads are putting into learning the game.

Under 14 A Girls; Stepaside 2, Liffeybank 0

The hosts got an early goal and a late goal to take the three points off the Simon Coburn and Billy O' Connor managed team. Liffeybank's best chance fell to Emma Murphy who cracked a shot off the crossbar with the keeper well beaten. The Liffeybank girls enjoyed a lot of possession but couldn't break down the home side. The talented group will brush themselves off and go again next week.

Under 11 B Girls; Liffeybank 4, (Tessa, Bianca, Sadhbd, Amber), Ashbourne United 4.

The proverbial game of two half's. Liffeybank led 4 nil at half time and seemed to be in total control. Ashbourne had other ideas and threw everything at the home defense and were rewarded with four second half goals. Liffeybank had plenty of chances to wrap up the game but the visitors goalkeeper had a Player of the Match performance to earn her team a share of the spoils.

Under 11 C Girls; Liffeybank 0, Balscadden 6.

This was only the second run out for the U11C team and they came up against a very strong North Dublin team. The girls battled well. Caoilinn and Harper were trying to make the breakthrough but the more experienced visitors dealt with everything Liffeybank could muster while always threatening themselves.

LSL 3A Saturday; Liffeybank 2 (Noah, Rowan Fitzpatrick), Sallynoggin/Pearse 2.

Two early errors had the Blues down in the game. The home side dusted themselves off and got two second half goals. Leon with a lovely ball into Noah to finish, then a top corner for Rowan Fitzpatrick with the equalizer.

LSL Sunday Premier 1; Marks Celtic 1, Liffeybank 2 (Eddie Murtagh, Stephen Doherty).

After an early goal conceded Liffeybank battled back into the game and Eddie Murtagh got the equalizer with a well driven low shot into the corner. Stephen Doherty claimed all three points with a pinpoint free kick to the bottom corner.
