A great way to end the holiday weekend, Liffeybank U13s hosted local neighbours Clonee United U13s in a closely contested friendly in the beautiful surrounds of St. Catherine's Park.

On our small sided pitch on Glendale side of the park, both sides gave their all in a pulsating, end to end clash, with Clonee United nicking a 1-0 win with a late goal, 5 minutes from the end.

Liffeybank would like to express their thanks to referee Jim Smith for his services and wish Clonee United all the best for the rest of their season. We look forward to more friendlies over the next few months as both sides transition to 11 a side football.
