The Eastern Women's Football League commences this week with League games across six Divisions.
Liffeybank start their League campaign at home to Rosemount Mulvey on Monday at 6:45pm in St.Catherine's Park. The Bankies have already qualified for the Quarter Finals of the League Shield with group wins over Parkvale and Sacred Heart. Rosemount Mulvey will be a slightly harder prospect as they are one of the favourates for the EWFL League 3 title. Liffeybank have their own ambitions and will be hoping that a good pre-season win over RMFC will be a sign of good omans. Managers Jim Keating and Martin Murtagh will have a squad of eighteen players for the game on Monday and competition for places is keenly fought.
The Women will appriciate all the support they can get on Monday night so if you are free why not come up to the beautiful St.Catherine's and cheer on the team.
