We are delighted to announce that Liffeybank FC is now an official affiliate club to League of Ireland champions Shamrock Rovers.
The club has been in discussions with the Hoops for a period of time and the link-up with the most successful side in League of Ireland history can now be officially revealed ahead of the return to training on 26 April.
It will mean a number of things for Liffeybank FC including coaches from Shamrock Rovers working with Liffeybank coaches to further develop coaching techniques to a professional level for our Academy and teams, from the small sided-games to the 11-a-side game levels.
Secretary Jim Keating said:

“This is another part of the development of the club. Our aim is to provide high quality coaching to our young players to ensure they meet their potential. We are impressed with the commitment from Rovers to youth development in both their Academy and underage structures. We look forward to our young players benefiting from the wealth of talent, knowledge and professionalism at Shamrock Rovers.”
"Rovers Academy Coaches have had online training modules with our club coaches. We have been working hard within the club to identify and encourage some of our players on the Women's and Men's teams to go down the Coach Development Path and already we have over fifteen members with FAI Accredited Badges working with our Academy and younger teams."
