Thanks to a deflected Paul Pogba volley, all their goals are either deflections or penalties, Man Utd overcame a stubborn Burnley side 1-0 (by stubborn i mean crap). The most entertaining part of the match was Burnley's Ashley Barnes' impression of rucking as he crawled and burrowed his way through two opponents to win a throw in. 

Arsenal gave a very stifled display against Crystal Palace in a dour 0-0 draw. Arteta, who literally tackled a player the other night, is starting to infuriate a few Arsenal fans I know with his insistence on a very formulaic approach. Some great news today is that Ozil has departed on a free transfer so that's a weekly £350k leak in the finances sealed. Now to move on a few other high earning squad members.

Newcastle, whose players now seem to be revolting against their manager, gave a flat performance against Sheffield United who finally got a win on the board.
